Supper.....

Because the GPS gave us three rest stops that weren't stops. We stopped at subway and asked if it would be ok if we used their picnic tables outside... They were really good about it. 

Guess what was made for supper on the bus...,, SUBS!!!!!

Thursday March 26th

We had another early morning out of Odessa Texas. A 7 hour to Dallas Texas. We arrived at the McGearys House where Brother Aaron McGeary had his wifi named “Distractions”… J In the evening we went to a local park and had amazing fellowship with their youth group and had an amazing BONFIRE with lots of music and singing. The kids were so excited to meet new people and loved the beautiful weather.

 

 

Wednesday March 25th

We all met back again at the church at 8AM sharp. And they wonder why we all sleep whenever we are on the bus…..

The agenda held a tour to the Pima Air and Space Museum and a long haul to Odessa Texas. The tour & our tour guide was awesome and had the kids loving it the whole way through. Mary Jin, “What I enjoyed about the museum was that the planes were SOO BIG and yet all from different designers and all for a certain reason.” A lot of the boys were thoroughly engaged and our tour guide even took as through a part that usually isn’t open to the public. We came back to the bus around noon and was off for our 9 hour drive to Odessa Texas.

 

 

Sunday, Mar 22

Brother Kim (or as the students say, Mr.D) reminded everyone that the day was the Lords and we should all dedicate some of our bus drive to Him. We ate a big breakfast and hit the road for a four hour drive till next stop for lunch. We tried to stream church back at home but the reception wasn’t the greatest. Mr.D put in “God’s Chosen Place of Worship” WMB 65-0220 and a wonderful calming atmosphere filled our bus as everyone listened intently. We stopped at a rest area for a beautiful hot lunch and later another for supper. The sunset blew the kids away. We drove through the bright city of Vegas and arrived at our hotel where the kids decided to FaceTime everyone in their contacts it seemed. Truly was an awesome day! Can’t wait for tomorrow.
